Over the years I think we have heard it all:

   The dog ate it.     The cat scratched it.     The rabbit ate the sofa.    My child drew on it.    There was a screwdriver in my pocket.         The sun can really do that?     A ghost cut it.     My contractor was so careless.    Movers did it.     It was my parents for many years.
